I sent my application in a couple of days after you…I haven’t received anything. My teachers haven’t received anything either.</p>
<p>Okay, it is time to start my essays. How might attending MITES support these goals?. I feel like I am not supposed to say, “It will help get me into a good school”. I am not attending for that reason. I am attending because it sounds fun, and I will learn in topics that have my career interest, but I don’t know if that helps my career goals. I guess it could intensify interest. Where did you guys go with this?</p>

<p>hahaha I wrote the first drafts of 2 of my essays and am on my third :P</p>
<p>so i submitted my app yesterday…
it <em>slightly</em> irritates me, because i rushed through my essays under the assumption that the due date was jan 17 and was not changed
so i sent my essays when they were still not at optimal level
then after i submit my app i see that i wouldve had a lot of extra time to work on them…
…c’est la vie.</p>

<p>They’re only 300 words each, not too bad. I’m in a similar situation too, several books to read, essays to write, tests to study for, all in this week. But who’s complaining? =)</p>
<p>Anyway, anybody want to speculate why they extended the due date? Was it for the SAT?</p>
<p>It could be possible that they extended it because of weather conditions? The RSI said that "Due to severe weather around the U.S., we are extending the RSI 2011 application deadline to Friday, January 21st, 2011. " </p>
<p>Just a guess.</p>
