MITES 2011 Information & Discussion

bahaha. i’m gonna shove it in this kid’s face who thinks he’s soooooooooo smart and better than everyone else.

Eye for eye, fire on fire, whatever you want to call it, theres no need for copies guys. The best way to deal with an acceptance would be to keep it to yourself, because approval is futile, especially when coming from people who have superiority issues.

Goodness, can we dream!?

@CPU
Dream on!

@Everyone
It’s pretty much only three days from April 8th! When everyone got decisions last year!
This is too much!

I had a false alarm today. There was a big white package sitting on my kitchen counter, and I was ecstatic. It was an acceptance to another summer program, which is always nice, but it wasn’t MITES :(

i won’t be able to concentrate this week. school can s my d. i just wanna party (the type of party i described a while ago, mind you) and talk to boys and do calculus (hehe i lovelovelove math) and go to mites. typical teenage girl stuff, plus some other not-so-typical stuff. but for realsies, i only have nine more weeks left of junior year and i’m starting to get antsy. seenyas '12!!

Entrevox- I love that song.

DUDE I HAD A FALSE ALARM TOO! my smith shirt came in a thick envelope (why was my shirt in an envelope!?). My heart skipped beats.

I haven’t retrieved my mail yet…hmmmm, wonder what’s in store for me today.

@CPU~ It’s a great song :)

And about the false alarm, I was so jittery and stuff, smiling and shaking uncontrollably, and then I saw the return address…,I felt so let down o.0

All I know, I just want to get accepted or rejected and leave it there. NO WAITLIST. I can’t take another month of waiting and false excitement…

entrevox11–TRUE DAT HOMIE!! i couldn’t wait another month

amd JMC, I cant concentrate either! Like at all. For anything. Suddenly junior year got super super hard with all the APs and SATs and ACTs and all the other stupid acronyms, and Im just starting to shut down. Junior year needs to be over. Like right now. I want to be able to watch TV, and read Harry Potter, and hang out and do other fun, random stuff.

umm best friend material? summer hang-out buddy? SPEAKING OF HARRY POTTER, WHEN WE GET IN WE HAVE TO ORGANIZE A GROUP TO SEE THE MOVIE AT MIDNIGHT. i can’t not see it then. i’d have a conniption.

I’d go at midnight to see Harry Potter :D

lol, we can definitely be summer hang out buds! And about HP, I’m sure it won’t be hard getting a group together. IF i remember correctly, one year they built robots in Engineering Design class and swam them around playing underwater Quidditch at the MIT pool! Apparently, MITES kids are HP fiends, lol.

lol i’m like fantasizing about MITES and i’m probably not even gonna get in. grr.

well finding a group to go would be easy i’m sure, but what about getting permission and organizing transportation and all that good stuff? hm. we’ll have to see.

Um guys. We will most likely be studying/doing homework at midnight :)

CPU–i knowwww, but ONE NIGHT. for HARRY FREAKING POTTER. it’s legit.

@JMC Don’t be a Debbie downer for yourself!

Think positive!

Um i dont like HP, so I’ll be doing homework that night all alone :/

LOVE snl. rawr MITES needs to happen. 1. obviously for the educational part of it. 2. it’s an excellent educational experience with cool people.
