<p>Yeah bumfox, I’m going crazy. I check the portal about twelve times everyday. I’m glad it’s almost the weekend so I can have a little fun and it will go by faster. I really want to email the admissions office, but I don’t want to bother them so I’ll wait until I have a reason to email them (May 1)</p>
<p>I sent it once and called (which didn’t go so well because people were being obnoxious behind me since it was in between classes), and I never received an e-mail confirmation, but I think they got it (it somewhat seemed like they had over the phone). I wouldn’t sweat it, but you can always call to double check (preferably in a quiet room >_>).</p>
<p>Thanks for easing my anxiety. 
I think I will call them later today or tomorrow, pending on when I finish my homework.</p>
<p>I never received an email confirmation either. I called and they said they received it. :shrug: They probably stopped sending out confirmation emails after the first wave.</p>

<p>Has anyone gotten information about MOSTEC yet? I was thinking that we’d get a packet in the mail by April, but I have yet to receive anything.</p>
<p>Stanford and MIT are my top choices right now. Although I’ll also be sending applications to Harvard, Princeton, UPenn, and Columbia among others.</p>
<p>I’m thinking Brown (probs not getting in), Dartmouth (again…probs not getting in), William and Mary, U Washington @ Seattle, U Rochester, U Chicago, Tulane…and maybe UPenn and Cornell.</p>
<p>@redchair: I was thinking the same thing. I clicked accept, and I also sent them an email after I got the letter. They sent me a response on the 25th saying we’d get an information packet in the next few weeks… but I want it now! I’m just so curious since there is so little information on MOSTEC.</p>

<p>Has anyone received notice that they were taken off the waitlist for one of the programs? The May 1st deadline has passed and still no word here if anything has changed either way.</p>
<p>Yes, I’m on the waitlist for MITES and they said they are still in the process of making the final decisions. They will let us know by the beginning of next week the latest.</p>
<p>Latinamom, my dtr. applied early and received acceptance in March. however, i do know of others who applied later and still did not hear a decision.</p>
