Hey so I’m applying to MITES this summer. I’m an Asian female with a unweighted GPA of 4.0. My family’s income is about 36k with four kids. I do well in my AP Calc and AP Physics C class, but I don’t do any STEM related EC’s because NJROTC take up all my time. My parents aren’t home much so much of my time I’m taking care of my three younger siblings. In ROTC, I’m currently the commanding officer and had been the Supply Officer whose is in charge of $500,000 worth of military equipment. The program sent me to Leadership Academy twice: once as a cadet as a cadre. When I went as cadre I was one of 24 that was handpicked by the commander in charge of all NJROTC units in both Georgia and Northern Florida. What are my chances of getting picked for MITES?
