HELLLP...i'm taking the act's tomorrow and i need to know if colleges will allow you to mix and match your best composite score (which includes english, math, reading, and science) with your best writing score (which is the essay). any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Some do and some don't.

Does anyone happen to know if Northwestern University allows this?

BUMP. please!? anyone!? im taking them tomorrow! so ANY feedback will help. do ivies allow this?

BUMP.help, anyone

I dont think colleges let you do this; only for the SAT.

How sure are u about that

BUMP! ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I'm like 98 percent sure...stop bumping; you're annoying.

Very few colleges allow this. I know of only 1 or 2 that do and none are top tier. Puget Sound does mix them. I would be very surprised if Northwestern did. I would think that they might look at a high subscore on another test if you were borderline and subconsciously consider it

Most of the college regional meetings I've been too had Adcoms say they do mix and match SAT but not ACT.

:)

If you're taking it tommorow, why does it matter if you know? It's not very feasible to substantially raise your scores in one day anyways... better to just relax and do your best.

Washington University in St. Louis does this.

And I'd consider them "top tier."
