<p>If you were, say, partially caucasian and partially URM, or some more complicated mix (I am partly German, partly WASP, half Indian), would you have a (very slightly) higher chance of admission to college than 100% URM?
I've heard different answers from different people I've asked irl so I just wanted to open it up here...</p>
<p>More than just a regular URM? Probably not. In general? Depends, I guess but I don’t think your rate of acceptance will necessarily go up OR down.</p>
<p>Do you mean Native American, or Indian from India? If the latter, I think that’s not an under-represented minority, so in your particular case, I don’t believe there would be any special consideration.</p>
<p>Just being Native American isn’t enough. You need to be involved in your tribe and be registered with the tribe for it to count for something</p>
