Hello! I’ve been poking around for information about this scholarship and I wanted to see if anybody had applied in the past.
I just got a letter that said that I was a finalist for the $10,000 Mizzou Scholars Award and needed to submit an essay and a resume for further review. Does anybody know what sorts of stats winners have had in the past? I have a 35 ACT, 3.8 GPA (weighted), and good extra curriculars (editor in chief of both the hs newspaper and literary journal, writing coach for local junior high writing team).
Any thoughts? Anybody else gotten the same letter? I really need the money but I know it’s only offered to a few applicants
My D got the same letter. I believe Mizzou gives out 35 of these scholarships. You sound competitive but I don’t know stats of any recipients.

My DD’s friend called yesterday and was told “the letters are going in the mail tomorrow”…So do they come snail mail or via MyZou?
@CoMoMom I’d guess both. MyZou>StudentCenter>New Messages is the path to follow.
