How is/was your experience there (or someone you know who went there)

I want to get into the Journalism school, I know the requirements to get admitted right away is a 29 on the ACT and around a 3.0 GPA. Anything else you know of?

I'm going to Mizzou for a visit in about a month any certain questions I should ask?

College life. Do you like the people and the atmosphere? I come from a pretty small town (about 10,000) people in the entire town. So I'm kind of nervous about it being so different but I'm also excited

Classes I should take my senior year to better my chances of getting accepted?

Do you recommend a career in photojournalism? I know I won't be the Rochester person but it's one of the only things I'm interested in.

As a St. Louis native, I know many alumni and current students going to Mizzou.

Just meet the requirements for the school you want to get into and you’ll be fine. They mostly admit based on your transcript and test scores. I’m not an expert on this, though.

As far as the campus culture goes, it’s a mix of just about everything (as it should be at a large state school). Greek life dominates about 20% of the student body; it plays a big role on campus. There is a good degree of hazing that goes in, though. If that’s not your thing, there are plenty of other opportunities to get involved. Tons of clubs and activities. Coming from a small town, you’ll appreciate the college town feel of Columbia as it takes a slower pace than other places.

Hope this helps a bit. I know many people going to Mizzou; some in fraternities/sororities, and others who just do their own thing.
