Thank you for your time.

please respond!

okay ill respond! i think you'll get in ED 2. the EC's will make you a 'competitive candidate'

"Who’s Who Among California High School Students" and "National Honor Roll" are essentially fake awards that students go maintain a C or more average receive so their parents will spend the money on the 'recognition'. if i were you id never have included those in a college resume.

im applying for the mlk scholarship too. my grades, rank and scores were higher and i had more AP's in my courseload. pretty similar extracurriculars-- im glad to see others care about the world and what is going on! you have just as much chance as others applying.. i assume that is about 250 applicants.

Good luck :-)

yeah, i didnt pay any money for any of the 'who's who' or the 'national honor roll' and the only mention i made on the app was simply one line in a list. so it was barely even mentioned, and not at all emphasized, because i do agree with you completely about the prestige, or lack thereof.

anyone else have any thoughts to share?

Cool app~ I have no clue what kind of chance you have as I am applying currently as well... but I was wondering what city you are from in Cali. I am in Glendale, CA. Are you anywhere nearby?

i'm from fremont... which is in the bay area. anyone else have any thoughts?

i have no clue about mlk (im not that good at the whole community service/leadership stuff), but i think ur pretty much a shoo-in for ED II

any last thoughts ladies and gentlemen?
