Mmm, chances?

Redirected from somewhere else: I would appreciate it if anyone could sort of evaluate my stats and tell me if you think I have a shot at Brown.

Early decision

SAT I:
CR - 700
Math - 740
Writing - 620

I promise that I'll raise my math and writing significantly. I expect to have at least mid-2100s after October.

SAT II:
Math 2 - 790
Chem - 770 (I hadn't taken chemistry in a year when I took the test.)
Japanese - will take in November, and I'm pretty much guaranteed an 800.

GPA - around 100 weighted
Rank - Top 5% in a class of about 360 students

Took highest offered courses fresh/soph year. This year I took:
IB math HL - A+
IB environmental SL - A+
IB English HL - A
AP US hist - A+
IB French SL - A-
Computer-aided-design - A+
Theory of Knowledge IB - I don't know yet, but probably an A

I will find out about my AP/IB exams later this summer. I took the AP Euro exam last year and got a 3 : / . I might've failed APUSH but I think I got a 6 or a 7 on my IB exam. My AP exam scores will stand out in a really bad way.

ECs:
Currently President of science club - officer for two years
Currently VP of the math team - pretty much guaranteed President next year
Currently secretary of orchestra - will probably get VP for nest year

Sold my soul to science olympiad - my passion 3 yrs
Math team - was selected to compete at state competition 3 yrs
NHS 1 yr
Cello 7yrs - trying out for local youth symphony orchestra soon
Starting underground chess club because chess is illegal at my school.
I might have more that I'm forgetting so I may add later.

Others:
TA at a Japanese school almost 200 miles away every weekend (I love my parents.) 1yr
We put on a chemistry magic show for little kids throughout the year 3 yrs
Peer tutoring through NHS
I expect to have excellent letters of recommendation.

It would be great if you could tell me if I have a shot at Brown early decision. Also, could you estimate if these schools would be reaches, big reaches, matches, etc?

Cornell
Case Western Reserve
Oberlin
Carnegie Mellon
SUNY Binghamton
SUNY Geneseo
University of Rochester

Thanks.

Oh and by the way, I'm a Japanese male and my native language is Japanese.

The SAT scores could really hold you back. There's really no way anyone can have a great chance of getting into a school like brown, but with the SAT scores up some you definitely have as good a shot as anyone.

brown ED is hard for anyone... a shot? yes.

Cornell- match/ reach
Case Western Reserve-match/safety
Oberlin-match
Carnegie Mellon-match/slight reach
SUNY Binghamton - safety
SUNY Geneseo- safety
University of Rochester-match

best advice= up the SAT scores slightly :) easier said than done.. i know

When I say "3yrs" for ECs, I mean I've done it for three years so far and I plan on continuing through my senior year.

I think I'm going to shoot for a 2200 in October. Math and writing were unusually low for me, so I'm certain that they'll contribute to at least a 90-point total increase.

Also, could my ECs hold me back? I don't think I have anything particularly outstanding. I plan on writing one of my essays around science olympiad because I love it.

Someone introduced me to:

admission chances . com (no spaces anywhere; I had to separate everything because it wouldn't let me post otherwise.

It's great - try it out.

yea someone also introduced me to it...but it has some glitches that need to be worked out. The site is only one month old. Otherwise, it provides a lot of in depth evaluation.
