MMSS Question for NU students

I am going to be an econ major next year and am okay at math. I was thinking about appying for the mathematical methods in social sciences program. Does anybody know much about the MMSS program? How tough is it ? Is it really a program worth being a part of?

It is pretty rigorous and if you can get in, it's definitely well worth it. There's a demand for people with great quantitative skill in the finance/business fields. My friend's friend got a PhD in physics and had a hard time to find work in related field. But then he found a job at the Wall St. Any chance for math2c retake? Since a year of calculus is required for admission, I woudn't be surprised they require a minimum of 700.

thanks Sam
