Model UN Conferences. Help!

Alright, so I need help. It's not urgent, but I'm just curious.
In Model UN we currently go to 2 conferences. Either VAMUN (UVA) or WMHSMUN (W&M). Plus NAIMUN (GTown).
Next year we are planning on expanding the program to 4 or 5 conferences. So I have a general list of conferences in the East. Please add if you find it appropriate. Otherwise leave me some info: 1. How was good about it? 2. What was disappointing? 3. Overall judgement? 4. How was the level of competition? 5. How much did it cost, per delegate (be sure to specify where you had to come from; drive, fly, etc)?
To give info on our program- We have a tradition of excellence, but in the last 3 or 4 years, we have seriously fallen. We began a resurgence this year. We got the following at VAMUN: 5 verbal, 5 honorable, 6 outstanding, 2 best (70 delegates). At NAIMUN we got: 6 verbal, 3 outstanding, 1 best (30 delegates). So... we are pretty solid. Like top 1/3 of schools solid. But not ridiculously good.

DUMUNC (Duke): Preliminary views- Nice, small conference. More of a beginner's conference. Focus on smaller committees. An early favorite of mine.

JHUMUNC (Johns Hopkins): Preliminary views- Currently my favorite. Mid-sized conference. Caps GAs at 150 delegates (no double delegations) and caps ECOSOC at 55, which is excellent. Caps specialized at 15. Triumvirate and specialized/JCCs seem very interesting.

HMUN (Harvard): Preliminary views- Way intense. I heard the prefer international kids. But anyways, just intense, it makes NAIMUN look like a walk in the park.

YMUN (Yale): Preliminary views- Pretty intense, too. But it's at the university, which has pros and cons of its own. I prefer having the entire conference in one building, honestly. I don't know much else, though.

ILMUNC (Penn): Preliminary views- A lot like NAIMUN, but a bit smaller.

I am currently leaning toward VAMUN+WMHSMUN (if not on same weekend) and NAIMUN+DUMUNC+JHUMUNC (if not on same weekend).

Hi.

In the past, my school’s program has gone to BosMUN (BU). I would compare it in difficulty to WMHSMUN (or perhaps a bit more difficult) and I generally found it to be run much better than WMHSMUN. Overall, it was a solid experience.

Thanks for the advice! Our school tends to be at about the WMHSMUN level, so BosMUN may be an option that’s competitive but no totally out of our league!

I would definitely look into BosMUN.
