Okay, so my school previously had a MUN club, but it broke up about 3 years ago I think. So this year a group of us started it back up (I was elected VP), but due to having no structure or anyone who was even a member of the old club or teachers that could help us we have not really done much this year. The majority of our time has been spent learning the rules of MUN by holding mock conferences just within our club and that's about it. Next year I'm hoping we'll be able to attend 2 or 3 local conferences, but how will this look to colleges. I see so many posters on here and how they've won all these prestigious awards at huge conferences and because my school's chapter is so new I don't have a chance to do that. Will the fact the my MUN club is so uninvolved in conferences and the fact that I don't have any awards to show for my time detract from my applications next year? (and I'm looking at like top 25 schools so I don't know if that matters)
