Hey,

I am wondering what top schools have Model United Nations programs due to my heavy involvement in the program. I am also wondering how much leverage my involvement (3 years, then this year I was the Vice President of the Economic and Social Council and next year I will be the President of the Economic and Social council, also participated in Model Assembly which is the sister program here in Minnesota where it models the local legislature, and also probably will participate in the Conference on National Affairs next year) will gain me along with my other extra-curriculars (I also have strong grades and good test scores).

Thanks,
Danny

Many schools have MUN programs. For instance, Harvard, Yale, Penn, Stanford, and I think Princeton, all host MUN conferences.

The easiest way to find out whether the schools you are looking at have MUN is to google `Model UN [University Name]"

Thanks. How much leverage will my involvement give me when applying?

It looks like it would be a strong EC for you, given the length and depth of your committment and the positions you've achieved.

Yale has one of top Model UN teams in the nation. Plus they run 3 conferences per year (intramural, high school and college) which provide plenty of opportunities to stick with Model UN throughout college.

HPS also all have conferences. Great ones too, I am sure. But I happen to know the Y's are definitely top notch. Good luck!
