My sister is interested in math and physics. Are there any politically moderate Midwestern LACs that have good math/physics programs (that aren't too selective?)

You have already started 4 threads on this… why start a 5th thread? Stop.

I would look at Dordt College in Iowa. They also have a small engineering program. It is a conservative, Christian small college with lots of people that love trucks and guns.

Median ACT is 25 but a 20/21 ACT and decent grades should get you in.

[Dordt College Programs of Study](Programs | Dordt University)

okay thanks I’ll check it out

Check out Lawrence University, which seems to have a strong physics department and is not super selective. Whether it meets your political litmus test, I don’t know.

okay thanks!

Based on your other thread, you may want to leave her alone. Her problems do not necessarily have to be your problems, especially if she does not want your help.

Also, the other thread mentioned her interest in engineering, so the selection of LACs with engineering (natively, not in 3+2 programs that hardly any students complete) will be limited.

Yeah, but engineering seems super competitive. Would her average scores cut it?
