Moderately cheap Single Room housing?

Is there such a think for incoming freshman?
Or at least a double with 2 separate rooms and a single bathroom?

Thanks!

Well nothing is cheap when it comes to college but yes they do have lots of options even for freshman

There are a few residence halls that have singles

Allen Hall (Known for artsy people)
Busey Evans
Florida Avenue-FAR (Far away from everything)
Ikenberry Commons North (Party Dorms)
Lincoln Avenue Residence

Price ranges are between 11-12k
But I’m not sure of the chances of you getting your preferred choice is since residence hall housing is assigned by a random lottery
You would have to share a bathroom with all the people on your floor though

Private Certified Housing has many options with singles and private bathrooms

Bromley Hall has singles W/ a private bathroom
Popular freshman choice
Big rooms
Social
$14,128-$13,880 depending on your meal plan

Illini Towers

4 bedroom apartment basically kitchen, bathroom and living room
Fully furnished
Free wireless internet
House keeping
Can be hard to make friends since everyone will have their door closed
Sterotype: Rich & Preppy Students

14,350 yearly

They also have a three bedroom, two bedroom and single/efficiency option but those are more expensive

Presby Hall

Standard Single $14,150

Mostly all the exact same features as the Illini Towers
Kitchen, Bathroom, Living room
You share the apartment with 5-6 other people
Also can be hard to make friends since everyone will have their door closed

There are other options just look at [University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign: Private Certified Housing](http://certified.housing.uiuc.edu/)

Do your research; the decision is basically going to come down to social life vs. nice living
