Mojo is in a dilemma!

you can't come up with a couple 100 bucks to decide you future? just hustle like I do, I can make that in a day

Cali --> Cornell is probably really expensive...

it is, its 740 per person and that is with 2 stops (philadelphia and i forgot where else) Also, that doesnt count the hotel stay. :(

Basically, i dont know if anyone from LA would be accustomed to Cornell weather, maybe you should ask Schneider09, if LA kids get accustomed to this type of unpredictable weather.

This sucks, i have 1 week and i dont even know what im going to choose. I think traveling to cornell is so damn expensive and i dont even have the money for it. My financial aid offer didnt even include travel expenses which is a couple thousand dollars a year. I dont even know if its worth it  esp after i have seen several kids trying to transfer out of cornell

Mojo: I bet you could get used to the weather. I didn't always live in WA and I quickly got used to the rain, cold, and snow. Although I have lived down south (warm !) the past two years, I don't think it will be that hard to used to Cornell's weather.

My suggestion is to go to REI - get a good shell, a good fleece, some warm socks, and blankets for your dorm. You should be fine.

Well I just have to say:

It's not where you are so much as what you do as a student that sets you apart.

mojo, before asking for our help, i suggest you to do some research for each school on:

1.) Courses offered (Each school has their own unique characteristic and strength as to where they are primarily focused on)
2.) Student Organization/Club opportunitites that interest you
3.) Honors Program
4.) Special Academic Programs
5.) Social Life

Weather really doesn't matter cuz you are going to adapt into the weather within a couple of months so don't put too much emphasis on it.

Answer this question first:

Which is matters the most to you:

1.) Leaving home to experience other parts of the country
2.) Academic Prestige
3.) Weather

which is it?
