Molecular Biology Subject Test?

What is the molecular biology subject test like? I am taking AP Biology next year as a senior. I haven't taken biology since freshman year. I answered the questions on the College Board website and got them all right, which makes me wonder how representative those questions are of the actual test's difficulty, since the highest level biology class I've taken is honors biology. I will be taking the test in November and sending the score directly to my early schools.

Any suggestions for prep books? What should I do to prepare? I need to do well on this one!

Thanks for your help!

I took the Bio M test in May after taking AP Bio. With the recent changes in the AP Bio curriculum, I don’t think the class helps THAT much when you take the SAT Bio exam. My advice is study as much as possible using both the Princeton Review and the Barron’s SAT Bio E/M.
As always, take a diagnostic practice test and see how will score overall then assess whether it is appropriate.
So pretty much: You should be fine to take the exam as long as you study hard.

I agree with 2nerdy, the (new) AP bio course, while good for a strong basis in bio, is not very detail oriented-enough for the SAT bio. It’s good to read through a prep book to learn what isn’t taught in the AP class anymore and to learn more details. Just by taking the AP course, and reading through the kaplan book, I easily scored a 780
