Molecular Engineering

I am interested in the University of Chicago but i have a couple of questions about my route. I need to know whether AP Chemistry or AP Physics 2 would be better for molecular engineering. I have already taken Honors Chemistry and also AP Physics 1. I have just finished with my junior year in high school and with that i completed Honors Pre-calculus. Thus leading me into AP Calculus AB my senior year.

Thanks

I wonder if it would be worthwhile to email Rovana Popoff (rpopoff@uchicago.edu) of the MEI?

The MolE program has basically 2 tracks, one that is more bio & chem intensive and one that is more focused on physics. Thus, both are equally good choices for preparing you for MolE. I will say that you need to take both physics 1 and 2 in order to get any credit at Chicago, so maybe take Physics 2 if you’re concerned with getting credit for your AP classes.
