Molecular Toxicology at CNR!!!

My second posting and my first thread.

Right now, I need to make a choice between Cal, UCLA and UCSD basically.

If I decide to join Berkeley, Molecular Toxicology will be my major. I don't know much about the college other than the comments and description given in the Cal's official site, and hearing from some Cal alumnis(although none went to CNR). OH, and I'm a transfer student aiming for med/pharm/dental school.

I said 'If I decide' because I'm struggling to choose between UCLA(Biological science major) and Cal, closely followed by UCSD and Davis.

My biggest problem with Cal has been it's seemingly cold nature. Most student seem a little too materialistic and cocky, and just care about getting better grades. That's not me at all although, like everybody else obviously, I care about my grade. I'm competitive, but quite friendly and helpful. Am I going to have a difficult time at Berkeley?
Sure, I procrastinate, but I will definitely work my butt off to keep pace with the fast pace of the University level.

So, I guess I am wondering how CNR really is? How the students and the class es are? The environment, the competition, and everything I need to know?

Thanks

PS- oh oh...this site is pretty cool. I'm ****ed i didn't find it before yesterday.

ekk..I'm sorry for the word in the last sentence. Didnt think it would be blocked :)

Have you visited Cal at all?

I would hardly term the student body "cold . . . materialistic and cocky" and believe you would find pretty much the opposite if you walk on campus and speak with anyone.

"cold . . . materialistic and cocky" are lies spread by people who rejected Cal or were rejected by Cal.

Hm, good to hear that. Yeah, I always get mixed answers from those who went to Cal though. Some of them are quite bitter about it.

I have visited campus several times, although not during normal school days. I should do that, and probably talk with students around more.
