Moleskine

How many people here use them and for what?

Plus, which Moleskine is your favorite?

I have always been a fan of the plain paged ones, and was looking for a bigger hardcovered Moleskine. Since the XL plain paged one is only offered as a softcover, I was looking into the Moleskine Folio (either A3 or A4), but they are very pricey ($25 and $35). I am hesitant though as I am not sure the Folio has the same quality paper as the other Moleskines.

Also curious if anyone else here uses Moleskines for lecture notes. I wish I could be as artistic as some other Moleskine users, but I find myself just using (maybe even wasting) my Moleskines on math notes...

I use them for art. I love the watercolor moleskine! It has the best paper I’ve ever used. The drawing moleskine is alright too but it doesn’t handle ink very well.

Hmm, I have two touristy, unlined notebooks from the Rijksmuseum. One is blue and the other is orange. I like them.

Haha I like moleskines…but they’re so expensive :<

I just bought two, and now I feel really bad about it. It’s hard to justify spending money like that.

But I guess people waste money on superficial stuff. The moleskines are pretty nice and have good paper. I don’t think I’ll be buying anymore though.

I’ve never had a Moleskine. I don’t really see the point, but then again, I don’t sketch or paint much.

if i wanted to get a moleskine, my dad would say “why you need expensive notebook? who you think you are, picasso?”

^HAHA. that made me smile.
