So somehow my mom is getting all my college spam, but I don't know which site is sending them. I'm not getting any, and both the SAT site and the PSAT site (same thing I think) have my correct email. She just deletes them, but I'd like to at least see them. Any ideas?

Ask your mom to forward the emails to you instead of deleting them.

lots of the emails direct you to sites, so you should look for links to edit the profiles and change the email addresses. of course, she’d have to forward first :)

College Board emails began yesterday (postal mail to follow).
Your mom’s email is probably on the registration form.
Go into your page on collegeboard.org and edit the email address to your own.
It will help for colleges who purchase your name in the future.

See, it is my own email on the site!!! And she does forward some of them.

Count yourself lucky! My daughter was horrified that her school email inbox was suddenly swamped with college email this week…she didn’t realize that she had opted in.

Did you take the PSAT this year? I remember I got a lot of emails just after that. When you take the PSAT, you give them their email - maybe you put your mom’s email instead? (This wouldn’t be the College Board site, as this gets sent straight to colleges.)

@bruno14 Thanks! I think that might be it.

When my D took the PSAT as a sophomore she had my email on the form. I just forwarded the emails to her. I continue to get some but most I was able to go to an unsubscribe list. When she took the PSAT, SAT and ACT we used her email.
