I got an Adrianna Papell for ds1’s spring wedding that got Covid-canceled. I ended up wearing it to his grad school graduation. I loved mine, but I had found it on someone on Instagram whose figure was close to mine and reached out to her about it. She told me order it a size large if I have boobs (I do!), and she was right! Good luck as you continue searching.

That’s really pretty. When I find a dress I like but it’s a little over my budget, I’ll put it on my wish list and turn on notifications. Then if it goes on sale, I’ll be able to order it right away.
Nordstrom is very enabling

Yes, I regularly bookmark some expensive stuff so I can pounce on it when the right sale hits. If I miss the sale, no biggie. They always make more. I have champagne taste but prefer to pay beer prices for it.

Thanks so much for a recommendation! I originally thought I wanted navy blue but am thinking I want pastel for a May garden wedding. I am still open to navy though. I took back the Adrianna Papell blush dress today to my local Dillard’s that I ordered online ( much more bling , metallic dots than I wanted- hard to see that kind of thing online). Nice dress and disappointed it did not work.
I looked around some in the store. Dillard’s has similar things that Macy’s has. And sells things that Nordstrom has. But, I didn’t see anything I even wanted to try on except one dress(below) so may be back to looking online at Dillard’s (bigger selection online than in the store and easy to return to the store). I don’t really like bling, don’t enjoy clothes shopping , absolutely don’t want a long gown so this is interesting! So much seems so “wedding mom” and just not me. The things I like (floral) may be too casual so I will probably wear the floral dress I got from Nordstrom for the rehearsal dinner.
I really want 3/4 or long sleeves, midi but I did see an almost elbow length today . I held it up and it looked like it would be below the knee on me , which would be okay, but I did not try it on. Access Denied

Thanks @soozievt . The Alex Evenings rose colored one may be the next one I order. I had looked at that one myself a while ago and now you’re also the second one to mention it .
I really like the blue Wayf one and had seen that one before. I would have ordered that but it only goes to size large(which they say is equivalent to size 10 and I am unfortunately larger than a 10!).
Some of the others are over my budget ($300 tops) or don’t have my size.

I do like blue and wish that WAYF dress came in a larger size. The Nordstrom floral dress I ordered is WAYF.

That’s the Alex Evenings dress I posted previously for sale on Amazon; they say free 7 day try on and returns for some colors and sizes - so maybe less expensive than Dillards. I liked that it had a floral pattern.

Thanks, Marilyn. I just checked Amazon and it’s $229 there and $215 at Dillard’s so I’ll go ahead and order from Dillard’s. I have a Dillard’s close by. But, good suggestion to check Amazon .

Thanks . Does it matter that the bride’s stepmother is probably wearing some shade of pink? This is rose so shouldn’t be too similar.
If the bride’s stepmother is wearing pink and you end up wearing rose, it could look nicely coordinated but not super matchy.
