<p>hazmat: first, if it's your room, why would you be locked out? Second, if you're already in the room and don't want to leave, and your roommate doesn't care, the easy solution to that is threatening to make some money off it with a webcam. Third, if you just communicate about situations like that with your roommate before they happen, everything will go much smoother.</p>
<p>First things first.....two people in a room, A is out B sets the deadbolt thus locking A out of his own room. Secondly I don't have a roommate I was responding to previous poster. Thirdly.....conversations and working things out is not an issue when a roommate is not a factor.</p>
<p>Ah...see, my school doesn't have deadbolts.</p>
