Moms and One-liners

OH YES! Cali in the house as well :)

And Wisconsin! Currently 4 degrees out with -15 deg. wind chill. Light flurries falling. I love it here!

I am currently homebound. I had knee surgery on Monday. I will be here with you folks for another 4-6 weeks before I can go back to work! Keep the smiles coming!

I'm here for four more weeks on MLOA.

How's the leg coming along? Was it arthroscopic?

My husband's from MN, so kind of your next door neighbor!

HEY STEALTH! HOORAH FOR WISCONSIN IN THE WINTER! Although we did have a semi-ice store Wed night here in North Georgia (Sure you guys up there would LAUGH at what we call an ice storm)!.. and hope you get better fast. I think there are a few of youparents on here recuperating from this and that I am sorry to say.

What better company to recupe. in? I feel better already :D

Yep, it was with the scope, although the doc said he had to 'expand' one of the incisions a bit because they found 2 tears in the meniscus instead of just the one they thought. Coming along fine...just can't get out or go anywhere, so it's either sleep, watch the Military Channel, or follow the ups and downs of College Confidential. They won't let me drive since it's my right knee. Kids took all the cars to school anyway...couldn't go anywhere if I wanted to.

Stealth .. have you seen FOX REALITY TV Channel? HAHA Great for boredom.
They are currently replaying PARADISE HOTEL at night. Cannot believe I wasted my time watching that.

And again, I still say they should do a reality show following the plebes .. They should follow one at each academy and do a documentary. I need to contact PBS and work on the funding for that. :)

After reading this I had to go over to the Navy forum and see what the fuss was about. Loonie...hmmmm the name seems to fit. :D

I think you moms (and non-moms) are awesome. I've learned a ton since discovering this forum by accident a few months ago. Please keep up the chatter so I can stay informed.

Does anyone know how to remove a possum from a garage?

I'm googling, now. Hope someone has an answer faster than I do! :D

No, but if you hum a few bars.... :D :D :D

go to www.opossumsocietyus.org

They have all of the answers I think you'll need.

I'll pray for you. :p

Bossf51-

OMG! You are too funny! :D :D :D

Seriously, where's the drop?

Oh my look at that picture.. to think that ugly thing is just beyond my office wall in the garage! You are quick on the google girlfriend! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF ME AND MY NEW PET POSSUM. I suppose I could adopt him as another cat. I just dont think I want him sleeping on my bed at night. Oh gross. He needs a name.

I need a picture of him.

Maybe if you hang a pole horizontally, he'll hang over your bed at night. You know, that and armadillos, I DO NOT miss from the south. BLECH!!!!

So I took the rake and looked around but he could be anywhere. So I think the cats stay in the house tonight, one of the garage doors stays cracked in hopes he leaves at some point and hope he will be gone by morning.

Just call him "Angel of the Morning."

Angel, for short.

What would be worse .. a possum, an armadillo or a rat? I think I am going to have to sleep with the lights on.

If I can find him I will take a photo for you.

Well with those red eyes.. maybe should be DIABLO of the night!
