Navy 2010 - ha ha - I don't have a son - it's my D!!! She got her appointment from AFA and WP but none from Navy, so no option there (her frist choice is AFA anyway!).

Found the scrapbooks - check out this web page - it has CG too but I didn't see USMMA there. Didn't see any specific Academy books but will keep looking. Search the site - it has lots of cool things to put in your scrapbooks too.

And you'll have a ball with those scrap books. Ours is so full for the first year that I had to start another to put Sea Year travels in. So fun to look back on after you get a year under your belts. I always enjoy watching my relative's eyes glaze over when I get them out & they know they'll be forced to sit on the couch for an hour & look at it. LOL My favorite part is where Plebe with no hair goes to Midshipman WITH hair. :D

The only place to get an official USMMA one is from the parents association. One of the states sell them.

AJ W is AJ Wright's. And, I'm being an idiot here. (DRAT MENOPAUSE...Mental pause!!) AJ Wright is like a TJ Maxx. (so, I gave the wrong initials) AC Moore is the craft store. Craft store simliar to Michael's. I believe they have more in scrapbooking though, from my forays into the place. We also have Craftmania, but I'm not sure if they're nationwide or just New England. May be on the internet. I've never checked. At any rate...it's A.C. Moore... (am going searching for my mental capacities tonight... ).

See if there is a store near you! I spent a million bucks in there on scrapbooking stuff.

Hey LFWBDad, truly? They were in there? Dang, I don't know how I missed them. Perhaps when I went the long way around one isle when I saw the sadistic umbrella mom I was trying to avoid.... You know I'm going to need another one so will have to give a call to the ship's store.

He blamed it on his cell phone being out of range (the ALO) and then wanted to let me know that the boy's offer of appt. was on the way. I wanted to scream at him, "What about all of the other kids you were suppose to watch out for? Did you check theirs?" However, I did not. Plus, since Boy was the one that talked to him, I didn't get a chance to cross examine him. Boy is smart when Mummy is upset.

Hey! No selling my baby on ebay! Besides no one would want her. She has too many dimples, a sideways little smile that goes from ear to ear over anything you say to her, some red hair that screams she needs a kilt, & she gurggles bubbles. Nope. I don't think I'd get one dollar out of her. :D

I wanted a red haired niece (my sis-in-law aka best friend has red hair). My sis-in-law loves me and she gave me a god daughter with auburn hair. Hey, I'll take it!

OMG! She sounds like such a perfectly BEAUTIFUL baby! She takes after her grandma, right? All of my mom's grandkids did. Or so she says.

GHD, your mom ADORES you! Loves her baby, that's for sure!

Zaphod- what an excellent idea to do to the husband! Then he'll have to sit there and pretend to listen to me, just like he always does, but can't talk back!

Ever since my son started playing soccer in high school, their team stunk, up until this year. They have a great record, and based on their win last night, will go to playoffs. The suffering, frustration, and complaining over how "sucky" they were lasted for three years.

This year, we (see "The Boy") is complaining now because they have to go to playoffs and how this will cut into his flying hours.
