<p>hood college, md. got half scholarship and now confounded as to how i am paying for the other half....actually i decided very late to study in us... begun applying in this may as i wanted to enter this fall ....took sat after 2 months of study.
really, one ought to plan out ones' life wisely.</p>

<p>Application really starts one year before getting to the college. Hood College is not that bad, but i do agree that they don't offer great aid.
But applying was a great lesson for me as i saw a lot of ups and downs.
As to how many colleges i applied don't ask. It must be a record for any student. the fee waiver tempted me to apply to numerous colleges in which I decided to apply only a day before.</p>
