For common app and any other online application, do you have to pay most of the time, even if it's online? Do most colleges ask you to just mail it, or pay via credit card online? I have 14 colleges on the common app, so I don't want to overwhelm my parents with too many, though it never hurts to apply to as many as possible.

It depends on the institution. Schools have different policies about whether electronic applications cost anything.

If it is a financial hardship for your family, you CAN request a fee waiver.

I was wondering whether I should some Ivies off of mine if it gets to be too expensive, otherwise I'm applying to as many as I can.

I think that if you can afford it and can devote time and effort to each of your applications, you should go for it. But don't hunt prestige and apply to every Ivy for the name.

What do you mean to each application? I think I have like two universities outside the common app that I'm going towards(one of which is already well done), and I should be able to use my common app(same one) for each university, right?

I meant to the supplements. :)

Oh Dang, didn't notice those. I knew about supplements, but totally forgot I had to do one for most of them. Well, looks like I have some work to do!

LOL - yeah, you might want to do those, as your application will not be considered without the completion of all information!
