Is Harvard worth going to if you do not have the financial assets for it. Or would it be better to just try your luck somewhere else.

Have you done any research? Look at Harvard’s website and its financial aid policies. No further comment.

wow man… wow…

bmccord - In case you aren’t aware: here’s the link: [Harvard Home](http://www.harvard.edu)

Contrary to popular belief, Harvard has one of the worst financial aid programs in the country. In fact, they meet -100% of demonstrated need, meaning you have to pay them the aid which any decent university would give to you.

that’s where you’re wrong saugus. if you did any research about harvard you’d see how excellent their financial aid program is.

xnamelessx - You missed the sarcasm.

Harvard’s admissions office claims that no one ever turned down a Harvard acceptance because they couldn’t afford it. I have no doubt that that’s true.

If your poor, you have no chance. They don’t give out any financial aid.

OK OK, everybody off of the mat! NOW!

BMcCord: you’re a sophomore with lots to stil get under your belt before you actually apply. Fin Aid is one of the large areas that you need to involve your parents. That being said, you’ll see different schools have different abilities to provide for their acceptees – Harvard happens to be one of the most generous. Plz do some of your own research and/or make an appt with your guidance counselor or see when your HS schedules college application/fin aid workshops.

Nameless, sargus was being sarcastic lol

Gordon - I think I made it clear .

Thank you for all of your help and sarcasm. I will admit I did not do any research before asking that question.
