I've heard that Wesleyan doesn't have merit aid. My family maes too much to really be considered for financial need based aid, and yet we can't really afford a school like Weslyan at full price. Anyone else in a situation situation. What are some options?

I hate to tell you this... but... loans.

Also, getting a job during the school year helps.

And at least apply for financial aid, because you never know how it works out.

Wesleyan's price tag pretty much sucks. :(

Probably wouldn't able to go if I got in then. I'm not going to be indebted for an undergrad education

Also, there are plenty of outside scholarships that you can apply for - there are a couple of websites out there that can help you find them :)

Like I said, at least apply for financial aid. Plenty of students who weren't expecting to get any, did :)

Also, it's not called merit aid, it's called 'need-aid'.

And if they NEED you as a student, sometimes your need-aid goes up too.
Remember, it's definately not merit aid. (I'm not sure how much wes does this but there are other schools that i've read of doing this.)
No sir!
