<p>Do you find out if you received merit aid in the financial aid package? I'd really really really really like to qualify for merit aid because it would make attending cmu slightly possible. I read on their website that notification of merit aid is given in the decision letter itself, but now I'm confused. In other schools, merit aid came with financial aid. I know, cmu may not be the same. Thanks!</p>
<p>The only merit aid that you will find out about in the FA package is the Presidential scholarship. All other merit awards were given out in the fat letter. </p>
<p>All this according to the FA person I spoke to yesterday to find out the same thing!</p>
