I have been preparing audition monologues for months now, but one day when I was on marymount manhattan's website they had a list of suggested monologues and my contemporary one was on it. Do you guys think this is a bad thing and and auditioners are gonna think I am unoriginal or that a lot of other people will have it? It's obviously little late to start preparing a new one, but I just want to hear your guys's input, becuase I am kind of freaking out. Thanks!

They wouldn’t have suggested that monologue if they thought it was a bad choice! It’s a good idea to have several monologues to choose from, but if you don’t, don’t worry about it at all. Just be sure that you do a GREAT job with it, in case others have chosen it as well.
