<p>It’s very difficult to find monologues that are actually written for 17-year-olds, isn’t it! My son has been told at auditions that it should be a character whose age is plausible for you actually to play on stage (not in a school production). That’s pretty easy if you’re forty, because you could probably play 35 to 50, but not so easy if you’re a teen.</p>
