got it today!

you just got the notification today? WOW maybe there is still hope!

i know, weird (especially since I’m so nearby)

–my mailman tends to mess up a lot though haha

no, it does not.

if you have a note from a doctor you can get a window unit

In this day and age all of the dorms do not have air conditioning?

Sometimes the mail is slow. It continues to amaze us as students who are close by sometimes hear later than those who are farther away. We generally tell students to allow a week for something to reach them from us.

Unfortunately, not all of W&M residence halls have A/C. In fact only 50-60% do and Monroe Hall does not. Note however that the College controls when the A/C runs. Usually it’s only only for the first few weeks of the academic year and the last few weeks. Beyond those weeks the temperature is usually moderate enough so as not to need A/C.

Mom2424, because W&M is historic many of our residence halls were built prior to the proliferation of central air. It is unfortunately very expensive to retrofit old buildings to include A/C. As dorms are rennovated A/C is generally added but there are numerous building priorities on campus that are also in progress. All academic and common buildings on campus do have A/C.
