Montclair or Rowan

I attend montclair state but I feel as though I might not be at the right school for me. Rowan is closer to home and expanding their academics. I just want an opinion on what school will ultimately prepare me better for a science career and is better overall.

Rowan is better for science. Would it be equally affordable?

Agree - Rowan.

Montclair is known for its education program as it was a teacher’s college. Rowan is better in science, but if you were to transfer you should also consider Rutgers and TCNJ.

Montclair is up and coming in science. one to watch for and check out their new life sciences building.

Only you can decide “better” for you.

I’m assuming that, at one point, Montclair was better for you. Why? What has fallen short of your expectations? What have you learned that you want to be different or better somewhere else?

Depending on what area of science you are most interested, you might want to also take a look at Stockton as an alternative to Rowan. It’s smaller and growing as well with existing campus in Galloway Twp. (just off AC Expy/mile 40 of Parkway) and new campus coming to the south end of Atlantic City.
