We have a date with Montclair State for a late audition to possibly add an option for my D's college choices. Strong actor/strong vocally/beginner in dance (has been faking it well for some time). She plans to audition for both MT and Acting. I have read some good things about Clay James and the MT program, but can't find much info on the Acting program, except that MT and Acting do not seem to inter-relate on campus (according to one poster).

Can anyone share some details about the Acting BFA program? Highlights? Pitfalls? My D. will have to miss her senior prom to make this audition date, and I would love to feel that this is being sacrificed for a chance at a special program.

Any details or insight very welcome. She will be auditioning for both MT and Acting BFA's. I have no idea how many offers they have out already but have seen her resume and say they will still consider her for Freshman entry, but that their process is very "fluid" so they can't tell me what spots are available. This makes me thing they are looking for someone to really blow their doors off. Can anyone shed some light?
