Hi guys,
I am a Senior in highschool, out of state (pa) applying to Montclair State university, I am trying to play a sport there with a preferred walk on offer, and just want to know my chances if possible cause I’m kinda stressin, my application is in. I took 3 AP classes in my high school career and more honors and AP classes combined then academic/ normal …
I’m male
White
Gpa:
UW 2.7–2.8
W 3.04
Sat:
1230 combined
600 English
630 math
I played baseball all four years of highschool, did a bunch charity work for an organization called “little smiles” and umpired baseball games as a summer job. If someone has anything to say about my chances i would love to hear any feedback
I’d say your chances are about 60/40, is Montclair the only university you are applying to? If so that is very dangerous. What other schools are you considering?
Seton hall, Monmouth, Temple…
I think you’re good. My son had a similar profile (sub football and wrestling for baseball) and was accepted at most schools in state. Being out of state and paying more probable helps you even more. Good luck!
Match: Seton Hall, Monmouth
High Match: Temple
Thanks for the feedback mean a lot I am hoping
