how common is sex on campus? does it get more common among older students?

this is scaring me. i'm raised in an asian family that moldau exactly described. lol

why would it scare you? O_O

The statistics they went over at orientation said something like 59% of freshman/sophomores and 48% of the school overall have never had sex. Someone correct me if I got the numbers wrong.

OMG Jinobi. LOLOLOL

Sex on-campus? Parking lots, MS and Boelter Hall buildings... bathrooms. HAINES AND ROYCE for gay sex.

As for sexually active students -

According to 2002 statistics from the last survey conducted by the Ashe Center, a little more than half of UCLA students are sexually active and 92 percent are protecting themselves from STIs or pregnancy either by abstaining or by using protection.

Sex is only as scary as people want it to be...

the 50% never had sex seems way too high. then again, certain demographics at ucla may lead me to beleive it..

sex is easy.
sex is everywhere. even in the royce elevators, the wg young cs lecture halls, boelter elevators, etc.

and some people are quiet. ;)

...unlike my apartment mates. they're like my alarm clock now. hearing sex noises? must be around 6-7am since they probably figure we're sleeping.

omg seriously i think people make those noises on purpose

at least im not right next door to their bed...

i mean its not like crazy orgasmic screaming/yelling/moaning/whatever... its subtle... the walls are thin. they hear everything but refuse to speak...

are there certain majors who tend to have sex more? (don't mean to offend anybody).

engineers definitely. everyone tells you otherwise, but seriously, they're good at hiding things.

InquilineKea posted a survey at Wellesley College that would suggest otherwise. Search for threads started by the user to get an idea of the distribution of majors in regards to having sex at Wellesley, providing a suggestion.

Otherwise I don't know if such a survey exists at UCLA.
