More demand for Master/PhD graduate? how about Construction Engineering Master?

I heard the rumor about how master graduates have higher demand in job market....is it true though? I thought the masters are sometimes "over-qualified", some companies will prefer some B.S. even college drop out with experiences to do the job for cheaper salary.

I'm just afraid my future master diploma of Construction Engineering Management will just end up in Ebay (just sarcasm for myself here)....I dont really have professional experience in Construction.

Any comment?

You don’t need a master’s to get into construction management. However, if you can’t get your foot in the door yet with just a bachelor’s, you only have two options: (1) switch fields, or (2) get a master’s. It’s up to you to decide which route you want to take.

If possible, you should find out from the department how the placement is with its graduates.

I have a master’s in construction engineering & management and am working in the field.

good to hear! thanks!
