Does RSI only offer programs for programmers?

I have interest in biological research, and I know they offer programs in biology, but do these require programming knowledge? I have read through the website, and I couldn’t find anything to clarify this.

Also, are there other biological/disease research programs you would recommend? It doesn’t necessarily have to be selective, it just has to offer a good experience.

I haven’t gone to RSI, but I can testify that most biomolecular engineering research require computer programming. I would learn it regardless just for acceptance to a prestigious summer program. It’ll be important in the future.
