Are there study halls in each dorm house? If so, are they on every floor? Would ppl recommend bringing your own computer chair for comfort? How many floors is each dorm house? I am in Hendrix. Is this dorm 1 building or a few? I got my room assignment, is there some special way to decipher the floor on which I will be living b/c the # has a letter then 3 #'s following it.

I am not sure about your questions, but I am curious. When did you submit your housing deposit? Can you recall the day? (May 1st for ex. is the deadline).

Well yes b/c since I am a freshman, I sent out my deposit that day.

i believe there are study rooms in each dorm building. you should check on the website for that. ive never used one. i think the library is an awesome place to study however. especially the music library [you can listen to some classical music while studying]. as for chairs... they suck.. but i bought a chair cushion at bed bath & beyond and it made the chair uber comfortable. well worth the money. Hendrix is one building. i believe all dorm buildings have 3 floors with a basement. you can tell which floor youre on based on the first of the 3 digits [ie. room 305 means youre on the 3rd floor room 305].

Do you have a link to the cushion that you bought? Also, did you carry it around everywhere w/ you or did you sue the library chairs? Should i bring my computer chair?

dont have a link but im sure if you go in to any of those stores youll be able to find one [its only about $25 tops]. the library chairs are comfy [all except the wooden ones]. if you really like your computer chair then go ahead and bring it. whatever makes you happy. =)

What other comfortable improving objects would you recommend? A fan? A heater? Keyboard & mouse, if so any specific one such as corded or cordless?

it all depends on you and what you are used to. i didnt need a fan [bc growing up in brooklyn, long island seems to be chillier to me for some reason]... you will not need a heater [radiators are in each room]. as for keyboards and mouses... its all about what you personally like. i suggest getting a printer though. bc when you need something printed, waiting on the line at the library sucks.
