More financial aid? BU is my first choice but I received no aid. We aren't financially fit

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I was accepted to a variety of colleges this year and BU is definitely my top choice. I loved the campus and the area and my dad also studied there. However, I am an international student from Korea and my parents make around 30k a year. Due to these circumstances, I might have to go to a community college since my parents can’t really pay for my college education. Does BU even give aid to Int. students or should I just give up and go to a cheap school?</p>

<p>I understand that BU might give zero aid to students. But this is my top choice… :frowning: Does anyone know any websites for international student financial aid?</p>

<p>My counselor said that financial aid packages are negotiable especially at private schools. If you contact BU’s financial aid office, I think you might be able to fix that issue.</p>

<p>BU gives no need based aid to internationals. Period. </p>
