So I applied to the University of Pittsburgh about four weeks ago, and today in the mail I got a letter requesting for my senior year mid year report/ sat or act scores. I’m really worried since Pitt is one of my top choices. My gpa is a 3.62 W and my Sat score was a 1210/1600 and my act was super scored up to a 27. I took the sat again in October and I got a 1190, but it brings my superscore up to a 1230. Should I send this score in??? Also am I being wait listed or rejected??? What do you think my shots of getting in are? Thanks for any advice!!
@cole1112, Yes, feel free to send in your October score! We superscore, as you know, so it can be helpful. And don’t worry, asking for more information is common and does not necessarily mean you will be waitlisted or denied admission. If you have any questions about the letter or your specific application, you can feel free to contact us: 412-624-7488 or oafa@pitt.edu.
Best,
A Pitt Admissions Staffer
