Okay so I just found my transcript so that's why I'm kinda re posting this question. Long story short. I'm an out of state senior wanting to go to asu. Pretty good grades mostly A's with a few B's, never had a grade below a B. All the classes I've ever took before are;

9th grade: algebra 1, biology, orchestra, English, health/P.E., reading, Spanish, and government.

10th grade: orchestra, early childhood, English, fashion marketing, Geometry, health/P.E., physical science, world history.

11th grade: algebra 2, business marketing, orchestra, English, geology, legal studies, Spanish, and US history.

12th grade (current): entrepreneurship, college algebra & trigonometry, orchestra, global science, English, facing history & ourselves.

cumulative gpa: 3.688
Rank: 54 out of 428
ACT: 18

I play volleyball and basketball and have been playing the violin for about the past 8 years.

I know the only real thing holding me back is the horrible ACT test score. I can't sign up for the Dec. test because I missed the registration date by one day. Do you think it would be pointless for me to apply to ASU still with the 18 on the act? Will it automatically get me denied since its so low?
