<p>I don't agree kbk07. Need blind means that admissions decisions are made seperately from financial aid decisions. Not that they have promised to fund everyone admitted.
And SPS had stated that policy last year as well.<br>
And, some the schools that are need blind in admissions and can not not fully fund them financially DO indeed admit them outright and may not in fact put them on a financial aid wait list. Some are not given any FA (I know, what's the point of being admitted then, that's another topic), some will be given a FA award that is less than demonstrated need.</p>
<p>The point is, need blind does not only mean admission with guaranteed full funding.</p>
