t’s not uncommon (without overt “fraud,”) for athletes to get a huge bump.

But they weren’t athletes! UCLA recruited two Olympic gold medalists to their gymnastics team, and also this person who had never competed in gymnastics and didn’t compete at UCLA, but whose uncle was a good friend of the coach.
