More Questions!

<p>Hey thanks everyone for being so helpful on here! It has really helped me, and a lot of other people.</p>

<p>I was curious on a couple things I have seen around, and am not sure on.</p>

<ol>
<li><p>Does it help that my parents didn't go to college? And I actually might be the first to go to college out of my 4 brothers and 4 sisters?</p></li>
<li><p>Does it help that I live in a place where not many people to go Ivy League/High end schools? St.George, Utah.</p></li>
<li><p>Does a low income help also?</p></li>
<li><p>Is an attached resume bad or good? If you wanted to add some awards/club and services that you were not able to fit on the common application? Maybe some youtube videos/websites you've created.</p></li>
</ol>

<p>I know none of these won't make or break my application. I was just curios to know how the admission office looks at it. </p>

<p>I don’t know specifically for Stanford, but generally in the college admissions process:</p>

<li> Yes, it might give you a slight edge over another similar candidate.</li>
<li> See 1.</li>
<li> See 1.</li>
<li> It depends. Colleges generally do not want laundry lists of every single thing you’ve done. If it is very significant for you or your application, include it.</li>
