I submitted my FAFSA 7 days ago and received the SAR report 3 days later.

I made corrections to my FAFSA, do I now wait for another SAR before removing my 10 schools and adding the rest of the schools?

I made corrections to my FAFSA, do I now wait for another SAR before removing my 10 schools and adding the rest of the schools?

If you made corrections to the Fafsa, then yes, you should wait for them to process the corrected Fafsa before you delete schools. Otherwise, the original 10 colleges would not receive the corrected information.

Will I get some sort of notification that the 10 schools received my new correct application?
How long do I have to wait before deleting the schools and adding new ones?

You don’t have to worry about whether the schools actually received the corrections. Once you get an email telling you that the corrections were processed, you can go ahead and make changes. The schools may not pull in the corrected transaction right away, but they will get it even if you removed them already as long as your corrections were processed (and you can’t remove schools until the last changes you made are processed, anyway).

I didn’t get an email after I submitted the correction, even though its been 7 days.

I went to the online application and it said “Processed Successfully” so I deleted the 10 schools and added the rest of the schools that needed to get the FAFSA.
Did I do anything wrong?

If it says “Processed Successfully” and has a link to a pdf/doc, then have the original 10 schools gotten the FAFSA? I did what slipknotter did - deleted 10 and added the rest when I saw this.

If it says Processed Successfully, you should be good.
