More than three languages on Common App?

Hi guys!

I'm proficient in 3 languages: English, Filipino, and French. I speak 2 dialects of Filipino (Tagalog and Ilocano), both of which are also listed as options on the common app, along with a separate general "Filipino" option. That means that I need 5 different slots for my languages, but unfortunately the common app only provides 3 (to my knowledge)! Is there any way to increase the number of slots for language, and if not, which languages should I list? I have primarily gone to school in the States but I'm really aiming to highlight the fact that I spent a good amount of my childhood in the Philippines. Additionally, I am proficient in French after taking it for 4 years in high school.

Nope. You can list these in “additional information.” But I’d say, forgo listing the dialects; since you spent your childhood in the Philippines, two dialects won’t make so much of an impression (since most of us won’t even know how much any one dialect of a language differs from another.)
