<p>As per Morehead-cain web site Semifinalists will be notified and invited to Regional Selection Interviews today. </p>
<p>Any idea as to how is the notification done and do they inform applicant that are not selected ?</p>

<p>You are correct that In-State Semifinalists will be notfied today. I am an Out-of-State Semifinalist and I find out today about my finalist standing.
The applicants are notified via the Morehead-Cain website. When you go to the Apply page, an update will be posted when they are ready to release decisions. You can login in to your account and a letter appears on the screen telling you if you made it or not. </p>
<p>Word of advice, the update wasn’t posted until after 5:30pm for Out-of-State Semifinalists. I spent all day on October 31st, refreshing the page and my email. They want to notify applicants when they are done with the school day.</p>
<p>Best of luck to your son or daughter! I also will be clicking refresh 50 million times this evening!</p>

<p>Hi there! I am an in state semi-finalist, and cannot wait until tomorrow to find out if I make it to the finalist weekend=) I am already shaking at the thought of recieving the notification!
